Rescue or repurpose your old garments and textiles!


- Participants are encouraged to take their own materials to the workshop. The organiser (for example a culture school or a county) and workshop leader (me) will agree beforehand what materials we'll provide for the participants

- We inspire and teach each other how to give new life to old clothes and textiles!

- Techniques vary from crochet, knitting, machine-sewing, hand-stitching, gluing and painting

- Participants keep everything they make!

2) OPERA-WORKSHOP

Learn about the art of opera and create one yourself!

- Zero opera knowledge or skills required! 

- Participants hear what opera can be like and try real vocal exercises with professionals

- The workshop culminates in the creation and performance of a mini opera where participants play side by side with professionals

- This is my collaboration with soprano Tessan-Maria Lehmussaari and barytone composer Martin Lissel

3) Book-craft

At the book-workshop, participants get to create anything they want out of books that would otherwise be thrown away.

The possibilities are endless, among other things we create jewelry, interior decorations, binders, folders and boxes.
